The Langdale Pikes are the most walked of the Lake District mountains. This walk includes an ascent of Pavey Ark via Jack’s Rake. This is a grade 1 scramble (grade 3 being the highest) which gives walkers with a head for heights the chance to enter the preserve of the rock climber. The route continues over Harrison Stickle, Pike o'Stickle and Loft Craf before returning to the valley of Langdale.
