This Hertfordshire walk starts in the ancient village of Much Hadham, birthplace of the Tudor dynasty. On its outward leg it follows the valley of the Ash to Widford and returns on the open ridge between the Ash and the Nimney Bourne passing three elegant houses of previous times. There is opportunity for refreshment in Widford and Much Hadham. Suggested Maps It is recommended you take a map with you when following a walk route.
