This circular walk starts and finishes at the Hertfordshire town of Tring, which is close to the A41 trunk road. During the walk youíll cross beautiful parkland, see an impressive obelisk and cross some of the wonderful Chiltern Hills on two tracks that are both claimed to be Britainís oldest road. The county tops of Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire are visited, and on the way back, there are some great views over the vale of Aylesbury.
It is recommended you take a map with you when following a walk route. The preferred scale is 1:25000 used by the Explorer series.
Note : If two maps are listed at the same scale then either (a) both are required for full coverage of the route or (b) the route is covered on both maps.
